Blythe's dog training journey started after experiencing a drastic change in health shortly after beginning her college education. During this time, she was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Dysautonomia, and Small Fiber Neuropathy. Her world was turned upside down, and she had to learn how to adjust to her new normal.

After trying many different treatments, her medical team decided a service dog would be a great addition to assist in her recovery and independence. She welcomed her first lab pup home, and through learning to train her with several mentors, discovered a passion she didn't know she had!

Shortly after beginning scent detection training with Quimby, Blythe decided to intern under Dawn Scheu to become a professional service dog trainer specializing in scent detection. It was the best decision she made, and she has loved every bit of it!

Now she spends most of her time compiling fun tricks for her subscription boxes, training her two dogs, Quimby and Melvin, and creating online courses to make dog training accessible to everyone, regardless of their ability. She loves photography, kayaking, walking with her dogs, and spending time with her family.
